Warning: Stocks Will Collapse by 50% in 2014
Warning: Stocks Will Collapse by 50% in 2014
“We have no right to be surprised by a severe and imminent stock market crash,” explains Mark Spitznagel, a hedge fund manager who is notorious for his hugely profitable billion-dollar bet on the 2008 crisis. “In fact, we must absolutely expect it."
Unfortunately Spitznagel isn’t alone.
“We are in a gigantic financial asset bubble,” warns Swiss adviser and fund manager Marc Faber. “It could burst any day.”
Faber doesn’t hesitate to put the blame squarely on President Obama’s big government policies and the Federal Reserve’s risky low-rate policies, which, he says, “penalize the income earners, the savers who save, your parents — why should your parents be forced to speculate in stocks and in real estate and everything under the sun?”
Billion-dollar investor Warren Buffett is rumored to be preparing for a crash as well. The “Warren Buffett Indicator,” also known as the “Total-Market-Cap to GDP Ratio,” is breaching sell-alert status and a collapse may happen at any moment.
So with an inevitable crash looming, what are Main Street investors to do?
One option is to sell all your stocks and stuff your money under the mattress, and another option is to risk everything and ride out the storm.
But according to Sean Hyman, founder of Absolute Profits, there is a third option.
“There are specific sectors of the market that are all but guaranteed to perform well during the next few months,” Hyman explains. “Getting out of stocks now could be costly.”
How can Hyman be so sure?
He has access to a secret Wall Street calendar that has beat the overall market by 250% since 1968. This calendar simply lists 19 investments (based on sectors of the market) and 38 dates to buy and sell them, and by doing so, one could turn $1,000 into as much as $300,000 in a 10-year time frame.
“But this calendar is just one part of my investment system,” Hyman adds. “I also have a Crash Alert System that is designed to warn investors before a major correction as well.”
(The Crash Alert System was actually programmed by one of the individuals who coded nuclear missile flight patterns during the Cold War so that it could be as close to 100% accurate as possible).
Hyman explains that if the market starts to plunge, the Crash Alert System will signal a sell alert warning investors to go to cash.
“You would have been able to completely avoid the 2000 and 2008 collapses if you were using this system based on our back-testing,” Hyman explains. “Imagine how much more money you would have if you had avoided those horrific sell-offs.”
One might think Sean is being too confident, but he has proven himself correct in front of millions of people time and time again.
In a 2012 interview on Bloomberg Television, Hyman correctly predicted that Best Buy would drop down to $11 a share and then it would rally back up to $40 a share over the next few months. The stock did exactly what Hyman predicted.
Then, during a Fox Business interview with Gerri Willis in early 2013, he forecast that the market would rally to new highs of 15,000 despite the massive sell-off that was haunting investors. The stock market almost immediately rebounded and hit Hyman’s targets.
“A lot of people think I am lucky,” Sean said. “But it has nothing to do with luck. It has everything to do with certain tools I use. Tools like the secret Wall Street calendar and my Crash Alert System.”
With more financial uncertainty that ever, thousands of people are flocking to Hyman for his guidance. He has over 114,000 subscribers to his monthly newsletter, and his investment videos have been seen millions of times.
In a recent video, Hyman not only reveals the secret Wall Street calendar, he also shows how his Crash Alert System works so that anybody can follow in his footsteps (click here to watch it now).

FG Directs Army to Commence Mass Recruitment
FG Directs Army to Commence Mass Recruitment
Following some of the resolutions made at the National Security Council meeting in Abuja on Thursday, the Federal Government has given the armed forces and other security agencies the nod to embark on mass recruitment.
An officer in the Nigeria army, who spoke on condition of anonymity made this known on Sunday in Abuja.
He explained that the move was to enhance the fight against terrorism in the country, adding that President Goodluck Jonathan gave the directive for more recruitment into the army in March after the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen Kenneth Minimah, had briefed him about the operations of the army.
The source said the army did not begin the recruitment immediately because they needed to expand training facilities in parts of the country.
He revealed that because of Boko Haram and other security challenges in the country, the army would commence the recruitment in May 2014, adding that they (army) would now be recruiting twice a year unlike in the past when it was once.
"It is true that recruitment has to be beefed up. The Federal Government has granted that request but recruitment is not just the number" the source said. "You must note that you cannot produce a soldier in three days or weeks; this is a serious business involving the requisite facilities for training".
"If you want to raise your recruitment for instance, from 1,000 recruits to 2, 000 per annum, you must increase the facilities for their training.
"And I can tell you that it takes time for you to increase such facilities. You see, the issue is that the country has neglected the Army for so long; several public commentators have questioned why public funds should be spent to maintain a large army when there is no war. But is it wise for you to start screaming where are the soldiers when you did not make arrangement for training just because there is a threat now?
"For you to increase the number of those being recruited, you have to increase the structures for recruitment because as you are recruiting, you are training" the source said.
He pointed out that the structures on the ground can only accommodate a particular number of recruits.
Meanwhile, the Director of Defence Information, Maj.-Gen Chris Olukolade, on Sunday, said that the military was satisfied with the ongoing operations against insurgents in Borno State.
He made the assertion during an interview with journalists on the sidelines of a media tour of military operations in Maiduguri.
According to him, the troops had been able to sustain momentum in terms of the offensive against the terrorists.
"The bases we visited are part of the responses to the terrorist offensive and that is an achievement; the military had moved close to where the insurgents are" he said.
Olukolade further stated that the soldiers were highly motivated, and expressed believes that they would see more successes from the troops.
We Are Living In Very Bad Conditions' - Soldiers Fighting Against Boko Haram Make Demands
The soldiers who pleaded anonymity criticized the practice of leaving them stationed for too long in the battlefields in the war against the insurgents while also lamenting the terrible condition they are living in.
One of the soldiers said, "We are living in very bad conditions. The food they give us is terrible. The heat here is terrible. And I find it difficult to stay alert and concentrate on the job because every time I talk to my wife, she is always crying, asking me when will I come home to see my children."
Most of the soldiers lamented being the battlefield for over six months with no idea of when they will be re-posted to another battalion.
One of the soldiers in Borno said his wife gave birth a month after he was posted to the troubled area and he's been there for ten months. He has not seen his child nor wife since they can't come to visit him.
Most of the soldiers were of the opinion that soldiers should be deployed for a maximum of four months at a time.
A soldier in Yobe said, "We’re not the only soldiers in this country, why are they not letting us rest after a while so that others can come and try?"
Another officer said he knew that sacrificing his leisure for the peace and unity of the country comes the job but they also need rest after some time as they can't operate without rest and that's why others should be mobilized to come and serve.
“It seems we are not ready to face-out insurgency in this country,” said one soldier who added that he was tired and frustrated.

2015: President Jonathan, Obasanjo In Another Battle For Supremacy
2015: President Jonathan, Obasanjo In Another Battle For Supremacy
There are strong indications that President Goodluck Jonathan and former president Olusegun Obasanjo are engaged in a fresh battle for supremacy ahead of the forthcoming 2015 elections.
Both men have had a strained relationship and Obasanjo's open letter aggravated the war between them.
This time the political war seems to be coming from Obasanjo's south-west area where most of his political aides and associates have reportedly launched a campaign for the opposition party, All Progressives Congress (APC).
Recall that over the weekend, top Stakeholders associated with the former president defected from the PDP to the APC.
A reliable PDP source revealed that Obasanjo's men are making moves in the states of the south-west especially ahead of the governorship elections in Ekiti and Osun in June and August respectively and the Presidency is aware of this.
"We were confronted with strong pieces of evidence that these men have been holding nocturnal meetings with APC leaders, especially governors in the south-west, with a view to voting against the PDP, and we had to return to the drawing board. We are ready to confront anyone with facts and figures that Obasanjo’s men are on the field campaigning for the governors of Ekiti and Osun; we can confidently say that, in Ogun, the former president prefers to have an Amosun than a PDP governor; and his men are on the field doing this covertly,” the source said.
Not ready to take chances, the President and leadership of the PDP have also launched a counter-move which will checkmate and his men from from launching their anti-party project in the South-west.
In the new move spear-headed by the president’s strategists, especially some senior members of the party’s elite caucus, the Board of Trustees (BoT), Ondo State governor Dr Olusegun Mimiko and former Oyo State governor Rasheed Ladoja have come under intense pressure to return to their former party, PDP.
Howver, Mimiko and Ladoja who both belong to Labour Party (LP) have said that the Ondo State governor will not dump his party for PDP, even though they support Jonathan's second term bid.
CONFESSION: How Ribadu Made Enemies For Me – Obasanjo
Mr Obasanjo, who was speaking after a presentation on “Illicit Financial Flow and Governance of Natural Resources” delivered by Mr. Ribadu at the 3rd Tana High Level Forum on Security in Africa in Badir Dar, Ethiopia, on Saturday, said he doesn’t fear those enemies.
“It is rather them that fear me,” he said.
* Obasanjo says Ribadu made a lot of enemies for him
* Ribadu
Mr. Obasanjo said he made it clear to Mr. Ribadu that there should be no sacred cows in the fight against corruption.
He said that it got to a point that the former anti graft agency boss considered the fight against corruption as “a matter of life and death”.
It could be recalled that Mr. Ribadu led the EFCC between 2003 and 2007. He won acclaim for his effort against corruption as he clamped down on very senior officials and government, including former governors.
His record is widely regarded as the best yet for the commission also he was also accused of taking on only those opposed to Mr. Obasanjo. He was replaced after Mr. Obasanjo left office.
